Woman Inserts Herself into LSU Graduation, Receives Another Student's Diploma

According to LSU Police, 22-year-old Bianca White is accused of inserting herself into Friday's ceremony, alongside the graduating class of 2017, and walking across the stage inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Police say White was involved in the entire graduation process and successfully took a purple diploma cover along with a diploma that belonged to another student.
According to the arrest warrant, White inserted a forged diploma inside the cover, giving the appearance that she had earned a degree from LSU.
Someone at the graduation later confronted White, where she allegedly admitted that she'd given the real diploma to another person. White was allowed to leave the PMAC, but walked away with the cover and fake diploma in-hand.
White is currently wanted on charges of theft and unlawful production, manufacture, distribution or possession of a fraudulent post-secondary education degree.

someone told their parents they had been going to college for 4-6 years and were really just doing drugs the entire time. Parents wanted to come for graduation so she had to act the part.

Does she know that any employer will call the school to verify that she graduated from there and you don't just carry a piece of paper around like it's a driver's license?

depends on where she's applying. if it's for a larger company, then absolutely. If it's a small business owner, one could put all sorts of bullshite on their resume, and I doubt they'd even look into their references or credentials. I think you'd be surprised at how little research some businesses actually put into their hiring.
