What I want to go back and see is if this narrative was pushed during the litigation or afterwards for damage control

Before the 1994 verdict it wasn't carried on any national media, as far as I know, it wasn't even a blip in the legal trades. It would likely be significantly different today considering the difference in legal coverage on the internet compared to 1994.

Interesting, so they probably used it for damage control and maybe to influence future tort reform, but I am just guessing

There's often more to these stories than is reported.

So, everyone that got covid, likely got it some where that has an insurance policy (work, home, random store), let's start the process for insurance rate hikes and scumbag lawyers to get rich.

Moral of the story if you are aware you have any form of dick rot disclose it to a would be partner or you may be civilly responsible for passing it on to someone.

Then why is the $5.2 not exclusively on the individual but rather on the insurance company? I read the rest of your explanation and I appreciate the legal breakdown but by all intents and by common sense the insurance company for VEHICLE insurance should not cover this.

She was not suing the car company. That would be a product liability claim, which it was not. She was suing the driver's insurance company. If the driver got into an accident (even while parked) through no fault of his own, the claimed would be capped at the maximum for bodily injury, typically between $100-300,000 per event, based on the policy. In this case the driver knowingly caused harm, so the max liability would be the cap. This is normally 1 million. Anyway, this is a bullshite award.

But not with the car, but with his dick. I still just cannot fathom why vehicle liability insurance has to cover this.

If he had liability insurance on his health or his life for every day frick ups? Maybe. I just don’t understand why the insurance company has to pay anything.

Lawyer read the insurance contract and made a play. Guarantee every new contract redefines what a car injury is and what is covered.

The mafia could not come up with a scam as sleazy as what the plaintiff attorneys have developed.

That case was legit. The coffee was way hotter than it should ever have been and it caused 3rd degree burns if my Memory serves.
