CJs are still around. I stopped wearing them in 2017 when I made CPO. They’re all unisex now. Women look really stupid wearing this uniform.

I was in the parking lot of the PX when she walked across the cross walk - she just stepped off the curb as I was about to enter the marked area from the other side and I knew I would be well clear before she waddled to my side to the crossing.
Bitch starts screaming shite so I stop and roll down my window to see what was going on. She was going on about me almost hitting her (never closer than 10-15 feet) and then capped her rant off with "you don't know who my husband is and you should respect our rank". I calmly explained to her she also didn't know who I was and maybe she should choose her words more carefully. I asked for her husband's name and rank - she stupidly spit it out.
Turns out my hunch was correct, the fat asses husband was a SFC. I told her when he got home to tell him t expect a call from command tomorrow and then pulled into the spot reserved for 0-7 and above. I figured middle of the day no one would need it for the minute I was in it plus I was in a rental. I waited for her to clear the area then went about my business.
I would love to know if she gave her husband a heads up she got into a shouting match with a visiting general and said general was calling him the next day.
What's worst than that woman is someone who equally tries to throw out rank. At the end of the day, shite doesn't matter and no civ is going to care.
Also you should learn traffic laws... You are REQUIRED to stop for any pedestrian ENTERING the crosswalk whether they are on the other side of the street or directly in front of your car.

I’m aware of what the traffic law is Barney Fife. I am also aware that a woman pushing 300 pound who waddles leaning on a cart takes about 2 minutes to make it the distance we are talking about.
