[quote]Hey baw, why hasn't another human jumped out of a landed capsule, and walked it surface since? Wouldn't you think today's technology, is better and more advanced than 1969?

I'm going to take a wild guess that neither you nor any of the other 300M hard working taxpayers are willing to devote the money it would take to fund that useless mission, which accomplishes nothing more than shutting up the idiots who think we faked it the first time. (Assuming they would believe we're not just faking it again) The first time it cost us ~5% of the US economy to do it. I'm sure today's technology probably wouldn't be quite that expensive, but why?????

Like I wrote earlier. You don’t have to send a human life to convince me. A rat or mouse would work fine . Into the belt and back. Still alive … we went . Dead. We didn’t

So.............they pulled off the greatest lie/hoax in recorded human history, but you don't believe they'd just fake your rat/mouse radiation mission??? OOOOOKKKKKK.......

I watched the Desoto/Southlake game and that kid is LEGIT.

Same here! I hadn't really heard a lot about him and really was concentrating on Boobie, but this kid just jumped off the screen. Runs hard, so difficult to bring down and looked to have some speed too. Maybe the professional RB recruiters are seeing something (or more properly not seeing something), but sure seems like he was WAY under the radar and deserved a lot more interest.
I'll grammar nazi you if I think you deserve it. But why are you so stuck on the word "egghead"? Nobody has used that term since 1956. Quit being a nerd, Biff.

Are we now in the wordsmith and spellcheck phase of the post season?

Every day is wordsmith and spellcheck phase baw!!
Tough day on here. Even the trolling isn't funny.

Consider this, Bryce Underwood was 1000% LSU for over a year until an unbelievable amount of money was brought to the table in the final hour.

It's one thing to have a drawn out recruiting battle and eventually pick Michigan. It's a different thing to have a change of heart after being committed to a school and change horses midstream. It's a WHOLE other thing to be "1000% LSU for over a year" and frick us over at 11:59 for a bag when it's too late for us to do anything about it or have a fallback plan.

You made your bed, now go lie in it and don't come crying to me when everything isn't rainbows and bunny rabbits. Michigan can have him. Can't wait to play him!!
Some recruit is dumb enough to not want to get on board the CLK coached Tigers because of something Frank Wilson is saying???

Well, Bye!!!

Good friends of my father-in-law. Had he and his wife over for dinner here in DFW once. Very nice folks!

HK45 CT. Probably my favorite pistol to shoot!
Well, since it's annually been Bama's biggest game for the past two decades or so, I'd say probably so?? :dunno:

Talked to my son-in-law who talked to his dad. There was too much weight to get that kind of lift with two engines, especially with the uneven distribution of power. FWIW, his dad looked at his old flight logs and realized he flew that actual jet a few years ago.

Not sure if there's a typo in there or not. By definition transport category aircraft with three engines have to be able to take off with the most critical engine failed, so too much weight technically is not the issue here. They (almost 100% certainty) had legal takeoff data for their weight that would have allowed them to fly away with one engine failed.

If two engines fail you're probably not going to climb away. Once the engine departed the airframe causing unknown structural damage you are pretty much a test pilot and dependent on skill and a lot of luck to get back on the ground in one piece.

Also, the fuel diagrams in the earlier post are simplified systems diagrams, not technical schematics that show the actual routing of fuel/hydraulic lines, etc.

Do not watch! WORST ENDING EVER!!!!

There would actually have to BE an ending for it to be able to qualify for worst ending of all time!!

The expectation for a WR getting significant targets playing for a upper half SEC/B1G team should be that you make your QB look good and make the difficult catches that you shouldn't occasionally. If you're not doing that, and making a habit of dropping the routine balls, you better have JJ or Jamar or Luther Burden type skills. Otherwise, move over and let somebody else have a crack at it.
