Thanks. Yeah, I'm cleared up on that detail now.

It's a little hard to piece together timelines and geography from a person's narrative recollection.

Never let scumbags convince you not to profile people. They do it too when they aren't signaling their virtues.

the officials realize their walking on pins and needles

It appears that at least by Saturday morning they had a description of "persons of interest" at a minimum. They should have released that description immediately and ask the public for help.

More than likely, these two were seen that night by friends, family, maybe even an enemy that would say, "hey, these two guys were dressed like that and live in that area."

Either they are guilty of the murders or they were there when it happened and could say who did it.

But oh no, we can't let this info out because of "pins and needles and shite."

The train is probably moving at a snails pace.

I don't understand how you're factoring the train into a way of catching these two. They don't just pop out every time a train appears. The train just happened to be there, so these two climbed over the train just like they've done any other night.

No greater over-aching point. Just pointing out that trying to make the narrative fit neatly together by supposing that "1 minute could have easily been mistaken for 10 minutes" starts a domino effect that calls into question the witness's ability to recollect the details.

He said "not even 10 minutes"

Also, people are horrible at estimating times and distances. Especially in stressful situations.

It could've been 1 minute.

You're making my point for me. Details matter. Unreliable details make for unreliable witnesses. Still a decent lead and I hope for a resolution soon.

Yeah. When they finish sucking off the BR news media maybe they can jump in this thread.

I tell that to my SO constantly. You profile the frick out of everyone you see in public.

When I see video or photos posted on the Ring alert network, 98% of the time it's a black male in the middle of the night wearing a hoodie.

Posters in the other thread said there were no updates so what could the local media report on & others suggested there is information but they're keeping it tight lipped. YOU mentioned conspiracy.

Nice try retard.

i would think between 2 witnesses in the same vehicle who were walked past at the same time, there is enough there to release a description to the public to help solve the case.

Seriously, is there any government body over police departments? It would be the FBI right?

The FBI couldn't solve the crime if there was a live video feed of it happening in real time.

We all do it. When I'm walking through a grocery store parking lot at 9pm in BR I'm not paying much attention to a black dude in khakis and polo. He's looking around for thugs too. Saggy pants and a hoodie? I'm keeping my eye on him.

Yes, but if the witness's recollection of time is off, you're also potentially calling into question the witness's recollection of other details.

5'11" could have been 5'5" and a red hoodie could have been an orange jacket.

Of course. Eyewitnesses are always suspect. But he did say "not even 10 minutes" so it could have been less and that could just be his general comment. He may have told police a more specific time.

Have you ever been in college? If so, you never went out on a Thursday night? Its pretty common dude. Its not like she was up to no good or something. Go to a bar where college kids hang out at 1AM Friday morning.. It will be packed.

Guess I’m assuming they used the train blocking off the roadway to trap their victim.

Surprised these ppl hear multiple gun shots and didn’t call the police right away

Yea this part is a little weird. The hoodie in 90 degree heat was suspicious enough. Throw in multiple rounds going off right after...yea I'm alerting the police.
