They might be too incompetent to be corrupt, but probably both.

They were both black males, I would say mid 20’s and both of them were around 5’10 or 5’11,

Description fits many BRPD officers and/or the Chief (he dresses like a thugged out 20 year old).

100 other people could've walked by in that time frame

It's 2AM...and if there were 100 people around, there would be tons of witnesses...not just this guy and his friend. Also, don't you think the Witness would have said something like that if there were other people around? The way he describes things...it sounds like the only people around were just him, his buddy, Allie, and the two guys he saw.

You expect the dregs of society to just magically reform themselves? As long as welfare continues as it is, and let’s be honest, it’s not going anywhere, less is more with these people.

Just trying not to be racist, sir.

Can’t let the hood rats know that they may be the root cause of a lot of violence in the city. Someone might get their feelings hurt. Or even worse, someone might get voted out of office.

I would think Red Stick Social would have some cameras. Parking lot is right next to the tracks, and she was on the East side of the tracks going towards downtown. I want this to get solved so bad. Truly disgusting.

I hate this city and state. From top to bottom, we are the most corrupt, lazy, destitute, inept, backwards, and worthless state in the US.

Now, there are some great people here, but, again, I hate it. I hate Baton Rouge. I hate Louisiana. We're a third-world, impoverished state that's overflowing with useless, uneducated, worthless, trashy, shite-stained "people".

five years ago i moved back to louisiana. i wouldnt have agreed with you then.

five years later, I'm ready to gtfo and never return.

This line alone will get this guy vilified and labeled racist. His testimony will be disregarded by many as ‘problematic’..

We’re not supposed to question this kind of behavior. Just proceed normally because if we don’t we’re profiling and prejudging our fellow community members based upon racial and cultural prejudice.

“At this time, her vehicle pulled up (Allison Rice’s silver SUV). I was going away from downtown on Government and she was coming towards downtown. These two guys walked past my vehicle. The train was still at a complete stop. They were walking through the cars of the train to get across the tracks. Not even 10 minutes went by and I heard the gunshots go off,” he said.

I'm a little confused by the witness's account.

Are they saying they were going away from the train intersection and a full 10 minutes later they heard the gunshots?

Let's say the car is averaging 20 miles an hour. At 10 minutes, he would be 3 miles away.

Is it possible to have heard the gunshots from that distance? Let's presume the witness's windows were rolled up.

i was told by multiple posters in the other thread today, that there was nothing new to possibly report on and it was a conspiracy theory to believe otherwise.

Surprised these ppl hear multiple gun shots and didn’t call the police right away

To be fair, hearing gunshots in that area at that time is like going outside and hearing birds chirping, but if he saw these two dudes and everything he described, that is a good question.

Just because that's just where my mind goes, I did think while reading it "maybe he shot her and is trying to direct the police's focus", but he said he had someone with him.

If the police were competent I would think they would want to talk to him and his friend to make sure they have the same story or that the person with him.. was actually with him.

Train was stopped and witness and victim were on opposite sides of train facing each other.

Perpetrators walked past his car ( heading away from downtown) and climbed between stopped train cars to get to other side which is where victim was sitting waiting on train.

I know it’s decades later but same as the pharmacist. Deceased was out at 2 am. Oh well

Not to mention the media will protect a certain demographic at all costs. These are the costs

Thanks. It's a little hard to keep the geography of the situation straight.
