What’s been your wildest Lyft/Uber ride? I had a guy in Vegas smoking weed in the car then ran 2 red lights on the way to my hotel.

I'd rather walk, rent a car, or simply not go somewhere, than let some stranger drive me around, especially if we are going to get on roads where they are going to drive 50+ mph.

Nothing to crazy but we had 40 something year old lady that was obviously on pills pour her heart out to us about her divorce and all the bad things her ex has done and was fishing for a big tip the whole ride

Had an Uber driver in New Orleans who had only recently learned to drive. I just closed my eyes after we ran the second red light and turned into oncoming traffic.
I would’ve gotten out but I was just enough booze into the night to just think “holy shite” instead.

Had one charge me like a $50 "cleaning fee" for "mud in the floorboard." I asked for pictures of it and the driver sent them to me. There were about 4 blades of grass in the floor and it wasn't even on the side of the car I was sitting on. I fought them for 2 months on that before i was finally refunded.
I will never use Uber again. Have never ridden in a Lyft car.

Lyft Driver in NYC falling asleep at every red light, horns start honking and he just guns in like everyone else. Pretty impressive I must say.
Get into a van leaving Baytown Wharf in Destin, driver and his co driver woman have lights in this thing like cash cab, EDM music starts and they are doing weird dancing hand motions, pretty sure they were on X or something.

Was in Houston in 2016 for a bachelor party. Middle eastern uber driver went on a 30 minute rant about how Hilary's ovaries disqualified her from being president material.
ETA: was in an uber with a friend of a friend who is a veteran. The driver was middle eastern and I was chatting with him about his homeland. The dude in the back seat hissed "have you ever been to kandahar" and then quizzing him about jesus and getting irate over his religion.

was in new york around christmas last year. got picked up by an uber. we couldn't understand each other during the entire 18 minute ride. it was insane!!!

I had a middle eastern guy pick me up at the airport in Buffalo at 1:30 am. All his texting was in Arabic and would get a phone call almost exactly every 5 minutes that would last no more than 20 seconds.

Secretaries daughter rode in her Uber last Thursday and accidentally left her phone in there. Well, she tried to stop the driver but he had already left so she called Uber to find out how to get it back.
Driver said it wasn't in the car......but lo and behold, he was trying to get in her phone and it snapped 3 photos of him

Had an Uber driver pick me up at the Denver airport for a ride into downtown (30 miles). Was expecting a Camry or something. He was driving a Tesla Model S. That thing was sweet.

I've never had much of a notable experience in my dozens of rides. Of course, I'm blacked out on the way home half the time so maybe something interesting has happened and it was lost in the ether.

One uber driver was telling me about how the doctors were abusing his mom, who had a tumor, in the hospital. Then he told me that he brought his mom to his priest and said she was fine, but the doctors disagreed. So he withdrew her from the hospital, and had his priest help take care of her.
