My wife an 13 year old son get into it from time to time. I let it go on for a few minutes and look at them both and say "y'all are done with this nonsense" and they usually protest a bit but they stop.

You cannot make them do what you want without making yourself into the target of their anger. Remember above all else in life, people will do what they do, and you can only truly control your own actions and reactions.
You can tell them to both stop fighting because they are acting like retards but that just drags you into the retardation.
Split them up as someone else mentioned.
Either: A) Tell your daughter to go to her room and not come out. No further action required, they'll get over it.
B) Get the daughter out the house, take her to do something, talk to her if you feel like she's open to it. If not, just talk about other shite. Take her to the beach or something. Text your wife about it while you're out, see if she's feeling OK, bring her back something nice - mother's day is coming up after all.
