Perimenopause. Many women suddenly can’t stand their husbands for no seemingly good reason and simply need hormones to fix it. Would save a ton of marriages if doctors would recognize it more.

Didn’t click the link but I got a text out of the blue from a local agents office yesterday with a quote attached (I’d shopped around last year so they had my info) and it was way more than double my current car insurance cost. They’re smoking crack up there.

My neighbors roof was hit by a tornado, and a chunk of their roof debris was embedded into my roof. It took an incredible force to get it in there. My house was relatively ok compared to theirs. You could stand on my roof and see the tornado path from their house, through my fence and into the woods.
That was a nightmare time for everyone.

There wasn’t for Laura.

Usually before or during a storm you see lineman staged everywhere in towns within a few hours away. I was on the road in the direction of Houston during the second half of the storm and saw exactly 4 linemen headed that way. Living on the gulf coast, I’ve never seen that few before.

But I don’t usually lose power over a cat 1 so I didn’t think much of it at the time either.

Ours gives out roses on Mothers Day. They die in an hour.
On Father’s Day, they get pie. Apple pie, Chocolate pie, all the flavors. And all the men get a slice of pie.
I think the roses suck.
