WITHIN THE NFL, at least one owner met the decision to book Bad Bunny with skepticism, particularly considering the league's pending agreement to sell the NFL Network and other assets to ESPN in exchange for a 10% stake in the media company.

Shortly after the Bad Bunny announcement, an NFL owner told Goodell that he feared the decision could threaten the government's antitrust approval of the pending deal, a source with firsthand knowledge of the discussion told ESPN.

"I told Roger he should've thought through that better," the owner said, according to the source.

This says more about the government than it does Goodell or the NFL.

I hope ole boy comes out in a skirt and heels and starts making out with his male dancers again. That would be LIT.

Oh the threads started after that would be a fun read.

It’s a pretty wild strategy that, instead of picking a halftime show to please those in attendance or those who spent money to view NFL games all year long, they are going to use it as an outreach attempt.

What about the rest of us? There are a lot of us that don't really appreciate the anti American sentiments of these types of performers. I guess the NFL cares more about getting a Juan to watch a game than keep a John watching. It's a weird business model.

NFL has long operated undeer a protective blanket of antitrust law exemptions, and until 2015 operated as a "non-profit," with federal tax exemption status

I don’t know anything about Bad Bunny other than he’s super fricking famous across the world. So I get why they’d want him. They’re constantly trying to expand outside American borders. This aligns with that goal.

It’s not a woke thing, it’s a business thing.

The NFL is as popular as ever. Whatever they are doing is working.

Everyone who is opposed to his performance are going to boycott the halftime show and watch the TPUSA show instead, or so they say (*wink* *wink*).

In theory, no one who opposes that type of thing would even see it, so they wouldn't have anything to complain about.

For the record, I plan to skip all halftime shows of any kind. Instead, I'm going to take a piss, get something to eat, and mingle with friends.

I don't see why they don't just replace him with Bhad Bahbie and have her show her tits.

Just as ghetto, name sounds similar, will still bring in the hispanic baws, and tits.

Did people really think the NFL was just going to all of a sudden change their mind?

the NFL has remained steadfast despite the blowback because Bad Bunny, one of the most popular artists in the world, helps fulfill a top business objective: growing the NFL's international and Latino audience.

So get Shakira... I would watch that arse shake instead of the SB.

So the concern is corruption in the decision making process of the federal government.

I agree that corruption is out of control in the Trump kingdom.

That is purposeful idiotic blissfully nonsensical "analysis".

Seriously? You have to throw in the ‘Trump’ caveat, didn’t you?

Sure, because Walz and Newscume are beacons of transparency and good business. But it’s the Trump administration that is a corruption haven, huh?

Lets be real, the reason for Bad Bunny is political. The reason they selected this POS cross dressing tranny loving loser is to stick their finger in the eye of Trump and MAGA.

We managed to overcome rigged elections, Democrat lawfare, and corruption to take back the White House and to shift American culture back on track, and this is how these captured low lives passive aggressive pussies fight back.

They undermine what the people voted for.

They lose the big election and then they riot, create crisis, use corrupt judges to impede, and try to destroy the government for the sake of their obsession with power and grift.

Bad Bunny sucks in every way possible. No one knows his music domestically or globally. He is a horrid choice that no one wants. That is the point. The NFL is so arrogant, they don't care about the people that consume their product. They are pushing an agenda. BB represents that cross dressing, tranny, pro-illegal immigrant, rebellion agenda.
