I enjoy it every so often. The food is actually pretty good, and the beer is cold.

1) Don't reserve a bay
2) If you are just going by yourself to hit balls, find a driving range. I'd imagine they are cheaper.
3) It's completely worth it if you go with a group.

Sounds like your beef should be with your idiot wife and not TopGolf.

I like that it’s bringing golf to young people. Most people at a top golf don’t play much golf or never have played. Top golf will bring a lot of people to the game.

Why is bowling so popular? Or mini golf? Because it's something to do. You can go there with friends, drink and compete with each other. Yeah I know you can do that at home, but you can stay home an watch a movie.. but people still go to the movie theatre because you are getting out and doing something.

It’s comfortable, there are drinks, and competition. It’s what every man gets off to

I wouldn’t say every man gets off to competition nowadays.

Bruh, I ain't a big fan of your anecdote based OP style but I respect the hell out of your DGAF attitude. I would buy you a beer.

I’m with you. I’d rather pay $50 to play 18 holes of golf and drink my own beer which is a hell of a lot cheaper

I spent $50 to reserve a bay and $50 to play for a hour. I didn’t think it was worth that.
Why did pay $50 to reserve the bay, which does not include the hourly rate? Can your wife read at all?

tried it out in Birmingham and it’s way overpriced. The concept is cool but it’s not worth the asking price.
It’s really not that expensive unless you’re trying to go by yourself. If that’s the case, you’ve completely missed the point of top golf.

There were only 4 of us.
So $100 for an hour of entertainment for 4 people is steep? That’s $25/person and would have been cheaper without reserving.

You sound like the type who wears jorts and a T-shirt to play golf

Should've just played a round at a public course. You'd have gotten 4 hours.

We went to one in Nashville last night. Dude next to us was lighting it up. Every drive was like 300+ yards. Of course he brought his own clubs too...

Dude it is an amazing idea. Well worth the money with a group of friends.
