My sister made money going to Nicholls. Now she is a nun.

I was offered a pretty good scholarship for their nursing program. Would have just had to pay housing. I regret not taking it.

Most schools with athletic teams are self funded.

I know my mental numbers maybe off, but Nicholls Athletics is in the black. Sure some sports like Tennis, Golf, and track at Nicholls do not support themselves without the support of other sports.

Also, donations play a big key to sports. Nicholls is building a new athletic center/football locker room/south end zone suite through a large anonymous donor.

How you think LSU funded it’s new locker room, it wasn’t state or university athletic funds. It was the TAF.

Nicholls produces a good number of teachers, nurses, and HR professionals for Govt/Chem/refineries/etc in the region.

Probably. She has been in the Philippines for a few years. Didn't realize that a country that has chapels in their DMV was in need of missionaries.

Every Sister I’ve ever met had on comfortable shoes.

Once they give themselves to God they take the comfort of their feet back.

Pics? Of her feet would be better than nothing.

If a student can’t graduate from Southern (where the instruction is far less rigorous), what makes you think they will graduate from LSU?

The graduation rates are because of student ability, not the schools themselves,

Nichols was a long way from Baton Rouge in 1948; before the Interstate and Mississippi River bridges. That being said, it is pretty redundant now.

It almost certainly isn’t. Only about 30 athletic departments are self-funded.

3) It used to have a decent Nursing and Education department. Not sure if that’s still true.

Still true.

This is exactly the case for many HS girls and fits into #1. They can get a 4 yr degree in sure-thing career without moving out their parents' house. It's a No-brainer.

OP is a tard with this BS. /story.

How is the Tech guy making a redundant statement?

If anything Tech, should be the flagship school. The the fact LSU A&M was established before Tech means nothing. Tech is on its way up whereas LSU is going downhill, with the decline of BR itself speeding it up. LSU is known more for its football than anything, academics included.

For you doubters here it is. In 2018, Nicholls spent less than 10 million a year and had a 400k surplus.
