You might have to adjust your graph in a few days.

Look, if you're going to be against it at least have the balls to lean into it.
We could stand to lose a good 20% of the population.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but you’re awfully salty for someone having a different opinion.
Eh, was an easy joke to make and there's no point in attempting to reason with someone like that.

Hey shepherd. I want you to think about the time period that you posted. That’s 3 months.
During that 3 months, only a small percentage of the worlds 7 billion people were exposed to the virus. Now imagine As time passes, the number of people in the world exposed grows too. Instead of two percent exposed, we reach ten. Or twenty. Or fifty.
If the same rate of death occurs, we re talking about lots and lots of people dying. It would be akin to if terminal cancer could be passed by a cough and it killed you in weeks not months or years.
I’m trying to explain this to you not ridicule you but explain why these precautions are being instituted. It is to slow the rate of exposure of the virus to the world, and allow the hospitals to be able to keep up with the ones with severe cases.

Is that supposed to mean as a woman? If so, incredibly sexist.

A perfect opinion, beautiful in fact. The best opinion anyone could have. Ask anyone. That's what they say...

And now 4 days later there are 60k deaths. Almost like we are at the beginning of this thing still.

Well you may be the dumbest person on earth

Looks like I'm more likely to get aborted than get the Rona.
But seriously, I too think it is largely bs. Yes it's real, but way overhyped. There's a gnat on the telescope lense and they are calling it a monster.

Look I get what you're trying to say.
But here's the real bird's eye view. Take out everything but the diseases because that's just noise.
1) the old diseases are entrenched, known quantities. Most of our modern systems can deal no problem.
2) the modern coronas that have jumped from animals to humans in the past couple decades have been mostly localized in the grand scheme of things.
3) China fricked everyone out of incompetence or malice, it doesn't really matter now. This new thing has been circulating on us for half a year.
That's awfully quick to hop up those deaths in and however any more we won't know since people didn't know to look. And now the big questions are, can we gain immunity to this fast either through exposure or vaccine? Are we gonna have wuhan seasons like the flu? Is it going to be a year round thing?
Just hunker down, live life, go to work if able. This isn't the world ender thankfully but it is a world changer, unfortunately.
