This isn't going away until a vaccine is developed. Mainly because a large part of the U.S. population thinks this isn't a big deal and aren't heeding to what's been suggested by the medical professionals. This virus will continue to spread throughout the population until we can vaccinate against it.

I work in pharma. Maybe I could lose job? Takes 6 months to a year to get someone (with advanced degree) up to speed on my role. Yet, I'm still replaceable.
Regardless, I don't want others to lose their jobs. Partly because I'm not an a-hole. Partly because I recognize that a good economy is good for us all. If I still have a job, and housing market is wrecked, stocks are destroyed, inflation is rampant. It's really doesn't matter if I have a job or not in those conditions.
Oh I agree with all that. I didn't bring up people losing jobs though, he did.
