frick that guy. My wife's pregnant with twin girls. I'm going to raise them to be the most obnoxious, shitty people that I can. People will not be able to stand to be around them long enough to bully them (or date them for that matter).

I saw one of those lists "50 things a man should be able to do" and I had done/can do almost all of them. Then I realized kids today can't do almost all of them. shite like "chop down a tree", "clean a fish", etc. I am a little concerned where society will be in 50 years if something like Katrina happens again and people have to fend for themselves for any length of time.

Can feel/express one's vulnerability and still be able to, shall we say, "grab a n***a by the collar quick," in the wise words of T.I.
Why do some bitches act like this is a zero-sum game?

What a fricking chode.
It's no wonder we have record number of newly-identifying "transgender" women (men).
Men are't allowed to be men anymore. These kids grow up fricking confused as shite and society pushes them against their natural evolutionary and biological instincts and forces them into directions they feel no natural comfort to go into all for the sake of "combatting gender roles"
Gender roles were created based on biological history and traditional capability. If women were as masculine as men, they would have been hunter/gathering right along with the men thousands of years ago.
So many confused kids, and the left just waiting to tell them "it's ok.. You're not confused or just going through normal adolescent behavior, you're gay or you're transgender... don't fight it. Just accept it"
Our future is fricked.

I am more worried about my boy becoming a Cowboys fan like his mom. Trying to keep the Saints fan line going.

It's clearly an article to attract more eyeballs, but the NYT shouldn't have to stoop to this level.

What kind of weak arse man are you if the first thought at the birth of your son is that he's gonna grow up being bullied?

Posted again before I realized I didn't care. I'm getting bad at that.

You are getting a jump on the bullying with that name.

When I see my son on the playground I worry about other kids being mean to them. It's just natural.
Instead of fretting over it, do something about it. Teach your son to take care of himself.

No, the way things are going he'll just be made to feel guilty for being a man. If he's a white a male, then he'll be made to feel like he is the devil.

Every single one of these limp-wristed liberal parents looks at their newborn son or daughter and the first thought in their eggshell skulls is "HOW CAN I MAKE THIS ABOUT ME????"
"Do I feel okay about raising a sensitive boy in this world?"
"Am I betraying the progress we've made by buying my daughter pink girly clothes?"
"Will my editor be pleased with this blog article that might one day embarrass my five year old?"
"ME ME ME LOOK AT ME"
