quote:

When my son, Macallah, was born five years ago, my college students asked how it felt to be a new father.

“Terrifying,” I blurted. “All I can think about is bullying.”

Silence and perplexed looks filled the room. “Your child was just born,” a female student said.

“I know,” I responded. “But this boy’s going to be raised to feel and express his vulnerability. That’s a curse in this culture.”

Of course it's too erudite to resonate with the bullies and toxic masculinists on this board, but I for one applaud the man who is brave enough to cry, and to teach his son to cry, and then to write an article about both of them crying for the New York Times.

This is the kind of man who will truly thrive in Hillary's America.

I threw up in my mouth a little and didn't even click on the link. Your quoted excerpt was enough.

frick that guy. My wife's pregnant with twin girls. I'm going to raise them to be the most obnoxious, shitty people that I can. People will not be able to stand to be around them long enough to bully them (or date them for that matter).

The saddest part, to me, was that his students initially acted like what he said was somehow unusual or strange- how retorgrade. Thank Gaia we give folks like the author tenure, to ensure that our youth are properly educated (or re-educated) in these cutting edge anti-masculinist theories. What a bright future for this country!

Of course a real man knows his vulnerabilities--he masters his fears and works to overcome them.

As far as tears, real men can cry, but it's not because of the SJW bullshite this guy would probably cite.

You can be a deep and complex man who is not afraid of his emotions without being a pussy.

When I see my son on the playground I worry about other kids being mean to them. It's just natural.

These are both agenderphobic micro-aggressions. You are a bigot.

What in the frick. This is not something that I ever experienced. I can only see it as fabricated, condescending bull shite.
