Saves the environment by requiring you to buy excessive amounts of “disposable” one use plastic jugs and funnels to achieve said goal

Just drive a Honda Fit and you won’t have to deal with it

I drive a box truck and it requires def. Has a separate tank you fill. Last longer than a tank of diesel(do t have to fill as much) some bs about the environment

90% of people driving vehicles that require DEF do not have a need for that vehicle. I don’t feel sorry for them.

Def Leppard? They're in their late 60's. I don't think we should get rid of them immediately but time is taking its toll.

I would generally agree with you, until I started looking at new truck prices.

I can buy a 3/4 ton diesel for like 3k more than a 1/2 ton gas. Explain that one to me.

I want them to get rid of the egr before the def system although both of them are void of any value. Diesels are less powerful at the same time as being less fuel efficient because of the emissions garbage they come with.

Yet again showing why you’re a fricking idiot and one of if not the worst poster here.

You realize that personal diesel trucks don’t make up the lion’s share of diesel engines right? And, how in the hell would you know that 90% of people that drive them don’t need them?

He’s a douche but he’s not super far off here. 70ish percent of personally owned trucks never or rarely tow anything. Roughly the same % for 4wd trucks that never go off-road and about 35% for never or rarely hauling anything. Rarely is typically defined as once or less per year in the data I’ve seen.

But people in the US don’t buy cars exclusively for utilitarian purposes. This is something I fought for a decade of hands all demanding 4x4 diesel 3/4 trucks to haul around a coupe other hands and some luggage.
