Why does it chap your arse to see people kneel during the national anthem?
I don’t care that they kneel. That’s between them and their bosses.
I care that so many people are pushing this nonsense bullshite narrative of oppression and police genocide that simply doesn’t exist. It’s breeding a harmful and dangerous mindset which is damaging the country. People are going bonkers over something so rare that it’s a statistical anomaly.

Why do they even need the anthem before games? Do they play the anthem before your job?
It’s also disrespectful to the flag to wear it as a uniform, a helmet, a shirt, or use it in any advertisement. Nobody gives a shite about that.
A retired green beret suggested that Kaepernick kneel - as a sign of respect - like soldiers do at the grave of a fallen soldier.
You have a downvote for this and you're right. All of it.

I support the rights of every American to protest however they feel as long as it’s respectful for the appropriate venue.
I never understood people getting upset over this. So what that they kneel. At least they’re out there. They could just sit in the locker room or better yet flip off the flag if they were truly anti American.

Wasn’t the fight for freedom over the past few hundred years meant so that if someone wishes to kneel during the anthem they very well can?

People obviously can refuse to show respect for our flag and anthem, and I just as obviously can change the channel and refuse to contribute to their livelihood.
I won’t be upset or aggravated when I do that.

Why do we even have to be subjected to it? Not too long ago, the anthem was always played when the football players were still in the locker room. Still like that in college.

We have the right to disagree with it the same as they have the right to do it. The problem is some people think we don’t have the right to disagree and make personal attacks when we do.

Why get triggered? I don’t kneel, I put my hand over my heart and sing it proudly, but if my favorite athlete does it, I don’t give a frick. That’s their choice and their right as an American.
NAH.... There is a much bigger question that needs to be asked here....
Why do opposing views on the matter offend people so much today that they will chant F-DREW ?
Have Americans become that small minded that they cannot accept an opposing view to that of their own?
That collective thinking is FAR more dangerous for this country than anything a cop has done to anyone in this country. It should quite literally scare the hell out of you.

I don’t care one bit if any player in the NFL wants to take a knee during the national anthem because I don’t care one bit about the opinion of any NFL player on any topic.
I can’t fake outrage over some perceived shot at the flag or our servicemen anymore than I can fake outrage over the current state of affairs.

Because it's based on a lie and the main one that started it, hands up don't shoot, was a lie.
George Floyd is a criminal. Hes lucky he wasn't doing life in prison.

Probably because their kneeling for that national anthem is not in protest to what the flag and anthem stand for, so it's a stupid gesture.

It’s no worse than people getting trigger by all lives matter. Before you get into this movement isn’t about all lives, it’s about black live, I get it. But people say all lives matter aren’t saying it to be racist, and players kneeling at the anthem aren’t doing it to be disrespectful. People can have different thoughts and ideas, and that shouldn’t trigger you because they aren’t yours.
Drew Brees just has the maturity to know that people can have their own beliefs, while his teammates on twitter just threw a tantrum when he didn’t fully believe in what they believe.

I don’t care, other than the fact that it is a poor choice. You are working, not on your time. What you’re doing offends your boss (some), and you offend 85+% of the people who pay your salaries. Kap is low talent QB who was drawing attention to himself and didn’t weigh the consequences. Plus, it showed the NFL’s hypocrisy after banning Tebow and others from Bible reference in their eyeblack. Also, the players who wanted to honor the Dallas cops who were murdered couldn’t do it per the NFL. So, you alienate your boss, you alienate your customers, what did he think would happen? Actions have consequences and he didn’t think this out, plus the “look at me” part is unappealing.
If one of my employees is going around on company time preaching to people about how he hates tiddlywinks. My customers have always loved tiddlywinks. They call me and say we are all upset about your employee pushing his anti tiddlywinks agenda and we may take our business elsewhere. Enough of that and it’s a problem. You bring the employee in and counsel him, but it continues. Your phone, social media and email box are blowing up. I would fire that employee because he was hurting my business. And, then every company who called for a reference would hear the story, and he then is basically non-hireable.
So, in essence, he may be sincere In his beliefs (I don’t believe he is), but his execution and delivery are problematic.

I have no issue with peaceful protest. It's between them and the NFL. I'm not going to get upset over a grown man deciding to take a knee during the anthem. All that he's hurting are feelings.
Posted on 6/4/20 at 7:20 am to DustyDinkleman
because what they are kneeling about is based on false pretenses perpetuated by the left in an effort to cause division in this country. I dont want my kids and grand kids to live in a tribal socialist hell hole. Wake the frick up dude. We are either all Americans or we are nothing and ripe for a takeover.

Yes they are. I don’t care if they do so, but don’t kid yourself.

I don't care.
It's their choice to protest in that manner... but that doesn't mean I have to give a shite about their protest either.
