re: Why do women complain to their men?

Ah, another woman-hating thread. Refreshing material. If this scenario is real, it's because the "man" answer is one of an Autist. Not everything is that literal. Lots of people have stomach issues over foods they actually like to eat. They are aware they shouldn't eat those foods. It's an insulting response.
Why do you expect someone to do the emotional labor and carry the weight of hearing negativity with the overt expectation that the person is never allowed to respond? Does that not strike you as a bit abusive?

Women like to bitch. Just ignore 90% of what they're saying, you'll be fine. Throw in a "wow," an "uh huh," or a "girl, I would never" to keep the conversation moving.

What is the strategy here? When someone comes to a man with a problem, we assume they are looking for a solution. But this is not something the woman is looking for.
One of the best gifts a father can give his son (assuming the father has it to give) is teaching his son the art of empathy. Especially as it relates to women and their problems.
Just STFU and listen. As hard as it will seem, don't offer any solutions, just hear and share her emotion over whatever it is she's dealing with.
She may even ask for your opinion. DO NOT RUSH IN WITH A SUGGESTION. There's a very high likelihood she will not take your advice so then you'll be left pissed off because you gave her sound advice and she did the opposite.
And don't get frustrated, this skill requires time and effort to master. You will fail but perseverance will bring fruit in time.

women complain to their Mom, sister, and friends first THEN complain to their man. They just love to complain...it is one reason we don't listen
During COVID I would stay home for days at a time. I would hear my mom complain to them all in a few hours period on the phone, and then start complaining to me. Would get mad when I would say "yeah I know your xyz is bothering you, don't know a solution".
(Definitely looking forward to the woman on the board complaining about men on a male forum, complaining about them

Yes, that's the price we pay for it. Some people don't realize this until they're old if ever. How many men do you know that really enjoy talking to women about what's on their mind? I don't mean that in a demeaning way either. You have to take the good with the bad.

You could try just listening because that validates people's emotions

When did fact become hating?

Women just want to emote. They are driven by emotions for the most part. If they went around fixing shite they wouldn’t have anything to emote about and their lives would feel empty.

Chicken needs a board for this.
Where do you guys find these PITAs?

Pretty sure there's only like 3 married people in those threads...

That and "Damn! Really?"

Why do men whine about women on a public forum. What is the strategy here? When someone comes to one of these sites with a complaint, we assume they are looking for ridicule.

Not early enough?
I feel like we need to bump those numbers up.
You know, you can be having a shite day and show up at the house after work and guarantee a woman will be gasoline on the fire.
All I wanted to do was watch LSU in peace yesterday.

Because they truly have no ability to be happy.
Even if a woman’s life is so easy and has everything she could want, she will be unhappy

Women don’t seek solutions.
They want validation and to be heard (placated).
One of the most confusing and annoying lessons of my life but it’s nearly universal.

This. Not many women enjoy doing the hard stuff. Happiness comes from the problem solving.

Imma go to church today just to pray a prayer of Thanksgiving for the blessings I've received.
I clearly am an outlier, and it has to be more than luck.
I did have a misstep with a skank, but luckily didn't marry her.
The others were/are awesome women.
