Little girls are murdered or go missing all the time. Just recently in Tennessee a little girl was taken by her dad and murdered. You'll never hear about it. Little black girl shot and killed in Chicago - the police have no idea who did it, we'll probably never know, and you'll never hear about it.

In the case of the TN girl, she was found the Dad did it, end of story, in Chicago people shot and killed every weekend, unless it breaks a reco0rd it is not news. IN the case of JonBenet no one accepts the official findings, and it remains unresolved for most people.

Here is the conundrum- if you believe Patsy wrote the ransom not there is only one answer. The ransom note is the key. It begins and ends with that note.

Patsy 100% wrote the note.

Patsy, the dad, the brother, or some combination thereof killed her. We might never know the exact details but we know the parents are guilty of covering it up. I’d convict both of them right now TBH and I’d need some pretty convincing information to make me think otherwise.

But as far as I’m concerned there’s no big mystery; that whole family is a bunch of creeps.

I disagree. She did not write the note . And we do not “ know “ the parents covered it up . See how that works ?

Ok, then replace “know” with “believe beyond a reasonable doubt.” Sure, there’s always the .01% chance that they didn’t do it but until I see evidence suggesting that then I’ll go with the overwhelming likelihood that someone in the family and in that house did it.

I thought I read on here there was an old serial killer in an Indiana prison whose schtick was setting people up for the murders he committed and there was evidence he was in the Ramsey house the day before the murder? He was talking but ended up dying before admitting anything.

It's easy to understand. The moving parts, the weird reaction from the parents, the brother, her being a preteen pageant contestant, etc.

This is like asking why OJ was such a big deal. Very many pieces in place to make it a compelling mystery or story.

And yes, little girls are murdered or go missing all the time and it's terrible. And unfortunately we live in a society where that is ore normalized. The viewer - you - needs more to the story to pay attention. Hence our murder porn culture.

If you really did live there, you are aware that Santa Clause was a person of interest.

Other than a family member, he is the only likely suspect from what I’ve been able to deduce.

No intruder sits in a house they just broke into either before or after murdering someone with known family members still in the house and writes a stupid arse ransom note with items he did not bring with him. It’s all a big cover up by LEO and the family.

It's not that I really care, it's just that it became a news story and it becomes a mystery so it becomes something of interest.

SIAP-

1- It is an unsolved murder.
2- Victim demographic not a common murder victim.
3- Community demographic not a common murder venue.
4- Twin Peaks style murder investigation.
5- The owls are not what they seem.

IMHO, Highly unlikely it was “ Santa Claus” fwiw. Although it was an obvious thing to investigate him. Think highly organized sexual sadist with a specific interest with binding and controlling.
