I'm not sure if it's an opinion that's just been echoed by everyone without ever really having any exposure to anything else.

My question, if US docs are soo much better, then why are 60 year olds in Cambodia, Peru, Greece, Venezuela, etc, etc expected to live as long as or longer than Americans?

US tied for 32nd with "the best" health care? Just ahead of Mexico Qatar, and Lebanon.

We talking real doctors, or Chiropractors, Optometrists, Podiatrists, and Dentists?

Most of the world: shitty doctors, healthy population, unhealthy ones don't last long.

United States: amazing doctors, fatass diabetus population that would have long been dead if not for the amazing doctors.

There, you now have your answer.

Because it has to do with the citizens themselves and how well they take care of themselves.

Americans are unhealthy not because of the quality of the doctors, but because the citizens eat too much McDonalds and don’t exercise.

Really stepped in it with this thread.

ETA: One of those "too dumb to argue with" threads.

America also attracts doctors from all over the world to come to the U.S.

Ex: How many Dr. Patels have you heard of in the US?

Panama and Chile are (in this report) ahead of the U.S.

If Bill Gates catches the cancer, I’ll bet he’s not heading to Chile for treatment.

American doctors make more money, so they're more expensive. And the more expensive something is, the better it is. That's just how 'Merica works.

The US population is significantly more unhealthy than most other countries.

It is actually amazing how well our healthcare system does with our terribly unhealthy population.

Another example of why statistics without context is just some tard/tards trying to push a narrative.

We've all heard stories of people we know that weren't smart enough to get into Med school in the US that get into schools in other countries so we think those schools are inferior.
