I'm still waiting to hear your explanation as to why living somewhere else does not help one grow as a person, and can actually negatively affect them.

Kids from BR who chose to go to out of state schools over LSU for college are generally entitled to begin with, and come back to BR even more smug/entitled when the real world doesnt work out for them outside of the nepotism they get back home, just an observation.

Why live in a rat race? Me, after living in a city, moving to the country made me a better person.

I can see that. But that's specifically referencing kids who leave for college then come home, not all people who move away. Although I'll say that being perceived as more smug does not mean they didn't grow. They may have become an a-hole, but they could have grown as a person in other ways too. 
Don't disagree. This is definitely not a city vs. country thing. You can move out of your hometown of Atlanta and relocate to North Dakota, or vis-a-versa. Either way, you're probably going to learn a lot of new things.

Some of us are born in awesome places. Left for college and came back. Travel but can’t find a more awesome place to live daily. It’s also nice to visit LA or Chicago or NY or Paris or London etc...but wouldn’t want to live there.

Eh, I can think of far worse places to live than Baton Rouge. It’s not my cup of tea (and honestly, it never was even growing up) but I take people at their word when they say they enjoy living there.

So you’re for real mad at 18 year old kids that leave Baton Rouge for college instead of staying home and going to LSU? I love LSU as much as the next guy, but if I grew up in br going there would be like a bigger high school. You sound a little envious of said “smug” 18 year olds from BR.
