You are ill-prepared if you live on the gulf coast and don't have enough generator power for your fridge/freezers, at a minimum.

My typical storm prep looks like this: Fill the truck up with gas and get one case of beer. If the power goes out, that's enough for one night. After that, I'm getting the frick out of town.

To make a storm casserole. The ingredients are: Bread, Milk, Beer, Cigarettes. That's why they all sell out so quickly.
