Fact:

The only good BMW is a BMW that's in warranty. Too much non engine related shite goes wrong with them.

Oil change on my Jag is around $200. But it also only needs to be done every year or 16,000 miles.

problem with dealerships is all they can normally get are the low end bottom of the barrel mechanics.

She got a new Volvo, I sold my Tacoma and got her hand me down. I originally bought the BMW for myself and it was torture her driving and fricking it up for 5 years. Now that I have it there's tons of work I have to do to get back in perfect shape. Gotta collect a bunch of tools before I start tearing into it. I'm never getting $130 oil changes...it's my car now and I'll do all of the work. The one good thing is that my wife grew up driving sticks, so the clutch is still perfect.

If you drive a car and complain about how much it costs to change the oil in that vehicle maybe you should downgrade.
