Yea, pretty much the last naturally aspirated (I6) manual transmission BMW with hydraulic steering. It's the last year of the E60 and the year before they did an LCI upgrade, so it's got cool lights and upgraded interior. It's a tank, but it purrs above 5000 rpms.

BMW must use Great Value oil. Porsche charges around $400.

Because BMW would rather that I buy a Lexus, Cadillac, Audi, Volvo, or Mercedes-Benz.

JJK. I really like the new 5 series.

Ducatis/Triumphs cost $200 for an oil change. Consider yourself lucky, four wheeler.

Doesn't make you poor at all. I have no idea your financial situation. It is probably far superior to that of my own. I was simply suggesting if this bothers you so much maybe you should downgrade to a non-Euro vehicle, so it does not consume you so much.

Be thankful, that’s 4 times cheaper than an oil change for a Porsche.

I pay around 150 for 8 quarts of full synthetic, and I drive a mustang gt.

I have the same car. I get 8 qts and a filter (all Mobil 1 pure synthetic and a Mobil 1 filter) for around $50 at Walmart and pay Jiffy Lube $29.95 to change it using my supplies.

I use Mobil1 0W-40 with a Mann or similar Euro-made oil filter on my 2010 Mercedes W204.

7 quarts = $51.8
Oil filter = $10.5

T = $61.8

~$63 for labor/overhead on a 20-30 minute job isnt too bad. Most people are willing to pay that not to have to do it themselves.

The responses here are pathetic.

A car using 6-7 quarts of high performance synthetic oil will NEVER cost $30 or $40 to have the oil changed. Go to Autozone and try even pricing it to do at home.

If you can't figure this one out you need to ride a bike with the other millenials.

1. 7 quarts synthetic oil w/ filter - oil service required at 15K mile intervals
2. All current vehicle updates downloaded to car during oil service. Kinda like a iPhone update.
3. Multi - point inspection
4. All fluids topped off
5. Free car wash & vacuum
6. Waiting area w/ WI-FI & desk area to work.
7. Hot milfs always in BMW showroom & service
