I'm gonna go ahead and do it.

If you're 5'10 205lbs and you didn't carry for 800+ yards this season or make your paycheck in an octagon shaped cage, you're fat.

So that you can wear them longer before you start complaining about them “shrinking”.

I've lost some weight recently and had to drop down to a size 30 in jeans. It was a challenge to find any in that size. Wife and I had to go to three different retailers before we could find some. America is grossly overweight.

The people making the pants want you to make a commitment. Either trim down...or get even fatter. Pick one.

Life is not meant for the mediocre. Pick an extreme and stick with it.

I'm more bothered by the fact I can't find anything under 36 waist with 36 length. Most pants are for shirt, fat people.

Without even fat bashing, it's math. The larger the number, the less the small increments matter.

2" is 10% of 20, but 5% of 40.

Now with the fat bashing (but sticking with the science theme), the extra doughnut you're carrying is squishier than what the athletic folks deal with, it can handle a more variable waist size.

Why do t shirts shrink so much is the question?

Don’t dry them, you say? They still wind up in dryer regardless

if you're snuggling into 36's or higher, lets be honest, you're having THE cake, not a slice.

You need better pants. Check the size chart on these:

The bigger question for me is why more don't make pants with odd numbered inseams. 32" is too short for me on most pants, and 34" is sometimes too long.

I, too, am in that awkward middle ground between a 32 and 34 inseam

I typically will got with 32" though because slight high waters still look better than bunched up material on top of your shoes

Cause if you're that fat, you are squishy enough to fit in the smaller size, or so likely to get fatter that the bigger size will fit soon.
