For me, at least, it's the fact that I want a family (of my own), and I don't have any children that I know about. It's much, much easier for me to get that done with someone 5-10 years younger than me than someone my own age. If I already had a few little hempsters, my preferences would probably change.

Part of the reason I was trying to focus in the early/mid 30s range...it gave me the option of having a family if I decided that was something I wanted.
But then I also do the math...if I had a kid tomorrow, it wouldn't graduate high school until I was 61. That certainly gives me pause

I'm happily married but a woman being a few years younger or older than me (5-6 years) is no big deal. I'd try to date around my age if I was single.

That’s key, and I need to work on my pictures. Almost of them are with family because I don’t take random pictures of myself doing shite. I have one from a hike and a selfie with me and a skeleton decoration that I think it funny. He’s wearing Saints clothes and in my car with me.
The pumpkin carving when we’ll but that’s all it was. Pumpkin carving, eating spaghetti, and I watched scooby doo with her son.
It seems I really really sound like I’m from Louisiana. That’s probably not a good thing. I’m on conference calls with work around the nation amd never have people say anything about me having much of an accent but these girls make me sound like I’m on Swamp People. I need to work on that.

I did an experiment several months ago on bumble
I swiped right on every single girl that popped up . It was prob 25-30
Zero responses.
Id get likes and messages on a weekly basis.
It comes from chicks that never seem to pop up.
I’m think dating apps are little jacked up.
I don’t get them.
Glad I’m not on one anymore.
