Is there anything in human nature besides sex, that may come close to the euphoric feelings dogs get having their bellies rubbed?

When my dog does something wrong and knows he’s in trouble he will turn over on his back and hope that I won’t discipline him.
He’ll get very submissive even before I discover what he did wrong
