When giving grammar advice, don't throw in a superfluous "the" in a sentence. Or use proper punctuation if you meant to put a comma in there. I'm not sure if that's been pointed out yet.

I'm not sure about that, but he's definitely the poster that uses exclamation marks excessively.
Hmm, this isn't even every example from the first page of his post history.

"In regards to" regards is something you send someone at the end of a letter.
It's "regarding" or "concerning"
Hardly anyone knows this!
"Based off of" ...No!!! "Based on" is much more concise.

It's when people write and it's hard to read...can't stand that. If they misspell something I can live with it. It's when there is no flow and the general grammar is bad...that is irritating.

Because it is a college football internet forum and it doesn't matter as long as you're point gets across.
Yeah you would think so but apparently the OT is full of a bunch of former high school newspaper editors.
The way I look at it is people who are good at English are people who can't afford a secretary.

Most prob bc they type in a hurry and it's not that big if a deal.
See I typed "if" instead of "of"....
I'm too lazy to back and change.
Most sensible people understand what it says.
