Nope. Going to put 250K miles (@ 120K now) and then trade in on a new Tundra. I would go through at least two Fords in that time.

lol what? Any modern vehicle is going to last 200K miles with proper maintenance.
I mean if you're poor and can't afford to replace before then.

Bc Ram, Ford, and GM owners are inbred.

I'm not that against a Dodge personally, but the reality is that if you have someone list the top 3 trucks almost no one lists them. So its just surprising that they outsell, as said I would bet a lot of that has to do with fleet sales.
I really don't understand the looks thing, IMO the tundra front looks a lot like the dodge front anyway.

if a tundra last twice as long it will have 1/2 the sales.
A friend of mine just traded a Silverado, still running good, with 225K miles on it. So, Tundras will go 450K miles?

Considering the number of high mile F150s on the road, your notion is pretty laughable.

2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn owner here.... I just hit 105K miles and have not had any issues
Hope to put another 50K on it before replacing.
I'll be honest, I bought a Ram over other trucks bc the price was advantageous and I am not afraid to open the hood.

my old 2008 GMC had 135k on it when i gave it to my dad. he has put 100k on it last time i talked to him about it. It is still going strong. So dont act like your tundra is special.
It's really not even worth trying with these Tundra guys on here. They think Tundras are the only truck on the road that hold up at all, regardless of the mountains of evidence to the contrary.

I'm on my third F250 Super Duty . actually still own the last one, has 285K miles on it, the only reason we replaced it is because wife wanted something shinier to drive on the road, around the farm we still use the '07.
Not gonna lie either, the price is painful.

Dodge sells better because it is cheaper and has had more than 0 new body styles in the last 20 years. Also, the discount is 3-4 grand compared to 10. I bought a 16 Tacoma when the new body style came out but would not get a tundra until they change some shite to make it worth it.

maybe because of the price and fuel consumption compared to other half tons is more?

They should learn to list them for $70k and sell them for $45k like domestic manufacturers do
I was about to post this. Ford is will to give the piece of shite F150.

I've tried for 2 minutes and can't figure out what you're trying to say.
Regardless, Nissan does this pricing game with the new Titan, so let's not act like it's only domestics.

Toyota will always lack behind US manufacturers in innovation and design, for the sake of reliability. They are pretty much making the same Tundra today that they were making in 2007. Sure, that gets them high on the list when reliability number come out, but I'd rather have new innovations on a new model vehicle; and so would most truck buyers.
Bottom line: Toyota's are boring.
I'm guessing you've never put anything in the bed before?
Ill take reliabilty over Bluetooth.
I dont need gps.
I can back up without aid of a camera.
I don't need a 55k+ platinum with electric fold out running boards.
I feel most truck buyer would be better suited with a honda ridgeline vs a real truck.

I think the difference is that other brand loyalists will say had a Silverado but xyz at 50k, had a RAM but transmission was shot at 30k, had an F150 but at 50k xyz traded it in for X and am not looking back. Toyota guy bought a Toyota had zero issues and so he bought another Toyota.
Then the only cons brought up are but they don't have AC in the seats or a tampon warmer, and it's not as pretty

It's like it's impossible for yall to not be condescending to any other brand of truck. It's truly fascinating.

Full disclosure - I'm #Toyota all the way, but my FIL got just shy of 300k out of his workhorse 1997 F-150 Lariat.
So, it depends on what you want. I had a 2002 Tacoma that drove almost like new approaching 175k. Toyotas always get my first look.
