Ill take reliabilty over Bluetooth.
I dont need gps.
I can back up without aid of a camera.
I don't need a 55k+ platinum with electric fold out running boards.
I feel most truck buyer would be better suited with a honda ridgeline vs a real truck.
Pretty comical considering the Tundra has everything you listed except the power running boards, even a Platinum trim.

I've owned an 07 Camry and a 04 Sequioa Limited and found them to be about the same in terms of reliability compared to the GMC Yukon 5.3L and GMC Terrain that replaced them.
Camry went through AC compressors every 2-3 years. Sequioa lost a fuel pump and alternator after 2 years
My thoughts on Toyota certainly changed after that camry

I've had a toyota with over 250k miles, a ford with 200k, and a GMC with over 200k. All ran perfect until the day I got rid of them, but I took care of them better than most people. Each had their own positives and negatives. To me, the GMC feels better and trailers better. The Toyota I didn't like pulling a trailer and the Ford I didn't pull a trailer.
I like the steering wheel controls on the Toyota the best, but the actual steering to GMC. Ford seemed loose. The ford seemed to drink gas like crazy although I'm not light on the pedal. GMC and Toyota were what and what.
As far as looks, I prefer the GMC, then Ford, then Toyota. Headlight output goes to Toyota hands down. Of course these were older trucks, so the new HIDs available might be different.
I've only driven a ram once and it seemed pretty decent.
No man should ever, I repeat ever drive a Honda Ridgeline.

I know an AirStream delivery guy who has 6 dodge rams with over a million on each. I'd never buy a dodge in my life

Maybe it's the 7 MPG highway.

if tundra last twice as long it will have 1/2 the sales.
Yea because most people drive a truck until it quits working. Makes sense.

It's like it's impossible for yall to not be condescending to any other brand of truck.
I had an '03 Silverado that I put 270k on with only having to change the fuel pump twice, alternator once, water pump once, and the brake booster on a TSB at the 15k stop at the dealer. I quite enjoyed that truck and used it recently to haul a neighbors '15 Ram to his house when his transmission was shot, and a buddies '14 Silverado to the dealership when a lifter gave out thanks to the AFM. Also got to spend 4 1/2 hours baking in the son when my FIL F150 with that ecoboost he was raving about went into low power mode and couldn't do more than 35 before finally shutting down on the way to the river. Which is probably why I held onto that Silverado for so long, meanwhile even guys I know with absolutely zero care for their Tundras and Tacomas are having zero issue. So when I finally bit the bullet I rolled off the lot with a '17 Tacoma Off Road that quite honestly has every bell and whistle that the Colorado I looked at did (except for the diesel) but that has a record going back to their first generation of trucks as being long lasting and reliable.
I think the US makers can make some great trucks, but I also know that the big 3 US manufacturers have had some very big powertrain issues pop up over the last decade and don't have a solid enough track record for me to bite the bullet on just yet.

People rather save $$$ than pay for quality... So Ford it is.

They're all good trucks if you take care of them. I've got a 2011 Tundra with 135k on it with 0 issues. What sets it apart for me is the quality. I've put some rough miles on my truck and when clean it looks new. The interior is all together with no rattles or cracks. I plan on keeping this truck for at least another 100k and plan to eventually trade in for another Tundra.

How ignorant.
A rating system that puts a higher value on features than powertrain reliability on a reliability test is what's ignorant.

Winter is traditionally a slower selling period.
Toyota Tundra is the oldest truck in its class, with the fewest configurations. It probably needs a few updates to keep up with the infotainment and technology available in the Ford, Chevrolet, and GMC products.

The competitors are more up to date. I don't really trust Ford products, but they try pretty hard with the F150. General Motors has updated their pickups every few years too, and I think the redesigned Silverado will be out within a 18 months. Nissan just came out with a new model and I think Ram is due for a redesign soon as well.
Toyota has sort of let the Tundra become outdated. It's certainly not a bad truck but I wouldn't pay more for it than the more advanced competitors. It's the Nissan Frontier of full sized trucks in the sense that it is a solid product that's old-tech and not efficient.
It's a competitive market, and NONE of the manufacturers make a bad product.

Try 1.2 million miles in a Silverado....in 7 years.
Like I said....NONE of the manufacturers of full sized trucks makes a bad product.
