You have keyless entry and never have to take your keys out your pocket to open the car and drive. It's awesome and should be on every vehicle in 2017.
Otherwise known as a fig button.

No. you're not getting it at $45k.
I can't help you anymore. Sorry if you can't understand how it works.

Really really nice to be able to keep your keys in your pocket after you have remote started it from inside and you have your hands full. Which is basically every morning and plenty of other times throughout the day for me.
I obviously got by just fine in the past without it, but it's one of those things you don't realize how nice it is until you have it.
Then again I fully enjoy my cooled seats, auto high beams, blind spot detection, remote tailgate release, 360* cameras and the list goes on and on. Some stuff I haven't even had a chance to use yet in my year of ownership.
I came from LT chevy's and manual transmission sports sedans before my current truck so it's not like I was used to these niceties.

You realize some dealers are willing to advertise their rock bottom price and not accept lower offers?
It's getting more and more popular in the age of internet shopping.

Sure. It's a marketing ploy. Every dealership advertises at least one over the top deal. But there is always negotiating room. I look at their advertised deal as the starting point. It's part of why I didn't buy the Tundra, they only came off of it 3K and I just felt like they could do more.
Edit to say that the size of the dealership would likely make a difference. If they sell more Fusions, they have likely less room than if they sell mostly F150's.

Not necessarily

He's full of it. Don't worry about him.

Possible I guess. I've never been to a dealership that wouldn't deal, other than the aforementioned Toyota dealer, but as this thread was started about, Toyota doesn't make tons of them, so that keeps inventory lower and price higher.
The Ford dealerships around where I live are volume dealers selling mostly trucks.

Didn't want to read thru 11 pages so forgive me if I'm repeating. I have a 2006 with 260grand on the dial. Absolutely love the tundra. It's the perfect size and very comfortable. However, the newer models are too big, get terrible mileage, and the dash and carpet are one standard black color unless you get the sixty thousand dollar model which is nuts.
I don't know this for fact, but you never see more than a few tundras on a dealers lot, so does Toyota produce fewer trucks to keep the price up? Pass a big three lot and there are dozens of trucks, so the big discounts are a given. Sorry to say but a GMC is probably my next truck.

They produce fewer because they sell fewer. Toyota of all companies is not in some niche market trying to sell only a handful of high-margin 1/2 tons just for the sake of it.
They shot their wad as a company in the early 90s and haven't come out with an original idea since then besides the Prius.
They were some of the first companies to be putting out turbocharged vehicles as a replacement for displacement and V8s and now their having to play catchup and get back in that game after mocking it over the last 20 years.
They were so proud of how large their engine was and transmission was and brakes are on the tundra when that's not the shite that mattered or helped them when everyone else was ready to focus on MPGs
