As a 6’3” dude, I hate Tacomas. It feels like the seats are really low to the foot well. Way too tight for me

Thats just not true at all. Depends on how the vehicle is cared for and maintained.

That is the "no shite" post of the day. I certainly didn't mean you could get more durability from a Toyota is you change the oil every 100K miles and compare that to a Ford or GM that was maintained by the "book schedule".

They’re great little trucks for little guys although as expensive as a full size

Also, you’re comparing F150s (and I guess Silverados), to Tacoma’s? No wonder you “get more truck,” they are kind of in two classifications

The point is, why is a Tacoma about the same price as a F150 or Silverado or Tundra?

maybe, if you spend lots of money maintaining it

with a toyota, you might have to replace a water pump

I had a Tacoma for 8 years and loved it. I've had a F-150 for the last 3 years and love it.

the Subaru is America’s official lesbian vehicle.

This sounds so idiotic to someone from mountainous regions. And even in the South this hasn't been true for some 15 years. Last winter, I drove on shite in MT with my old forester and regular highway tires w no chains that was sending trucks and suvs into spins, all around me. Most notably a downhill-grade drive off the mountain after it had snowed about a foot during the day.

One could argue they have a longer life expectancy, but GM/Ford can easily get 250K+.

Mine F150 is 17 years old (yeah OT poor) and 230,000 miles.

I’ve changed the alternator, fuel pump, and AC compressor.

Well, maybe my nutsack fits just right on the tow bar.

Just kidding, I drive a Hyundai Accent, so my nutsack has obviously shrunk as I’ve gotten older and is no longer is on display.

It's a midlife crisis thing. As a boy most of these guys wanted a Tacoma. Now that they can afford it they want to be the cool guy with the Tacoma instead of a man with a full sized truck.

If everybody drove a Toyota I'd have to get in the tire business instead of the repair business.
