How does it affect you and dont say showing responsibility. Most of you went and got a full 4 years degree for what we paid for a semester's meal plan.

We don't want to pay for it.

I'm supposed to be responsible for a loan that you agreed to?

Most people here aren’t boomers

Student loan forgiveness doesn’t do anything to fix the influx of fat that drove up universities cost.

College is optional so if you elect to enroll either have scholarships or a plan to repay the costs.

Who pays for it?

Student loans are fine if you're getting a degree that will net you a high paying job with which you can pay off your loans relatively quickly.

If you get them for some bullshite degree and you become a teacher making $40k a year, you can reap what you sow.

Taking tax money from people who never went or needed to go to college to pay off some dingleberry's philosophy degree.

Too many are in a bind because they just grabbed loans as free money with no regard of realistic earnings with which to pay it.

And too many who aren’t in a bind did so via sacrifice, either working in college, or giving up a lifestyle to pay off faster.

I have a shite ton of student loans and I don't want forgiveness. I took out the loans knowing I would have to pay them back.

People that say 18 year olds can't really understand what they are doing are morons. You take a loan, you pay it back. It is not hard to understand

If we could do this, I would trade paying off outstanding loans.
