There was a Mexican family on our block growing up in Metairie, dad was an engineer, mom was stay at home as were most moms. The son my age was a great friend and a terrific baseball player. He was chubby until he hit puberty, then he turned into a muscular refrigerator, the kids who bullied him for being a sp*c, stopped that shite or paid for it. His sisters filled out nicely.
He loved my mom's Italian cooking, his mom made these things called empanadas, I count eat as many as she gave me. Of course, all the white kids were skinny, what we called a fat kid would be a medium today.
Junk food it the ruination of fitness, I'm behind RFK, let's get rid that crap, destroy all the video game and buy sports equipment.

I feel sorry that you have never had the pleasure of dinner at a Mexican household. Chaotic fun.

It probably has something to do with the insane number of tortillas they eat in an average week. I can’t think of a dish off the top of my head that doesn’t have them. Hell 4 tortilla chips is 1 full tortilla. How many baskets of chips and salsa are they crushing on a regular basis?

Fried tortilla chips are much thinner than flour or corn tortillas
so to try to compare the number of tortilla chips that could be cut from your average tortilla is nonsensical because they aren't cut from the same type of tortillas
