Don't have a cow.

They aren't that bad.

I think dairy products are bovine also.

So the lactose combined with fat in milk is bad?

BTW, fructose is the "bad" sugar.

Not the type. Just the amount paired with all the added sugar humans consume.

I mean, I understand ice cream being bad for you but milk, cheese and yogurt? Not buying it.

I love dairy products too, but one huge problem is what cows are given to produce more of everything. The fat problem is obvious, but most people don't know cows are given a lot of hormones to make them produce more. Cows have a lot of natural hormones anyway. Plus dairies introduce artificial hormones that cause a lot of problems, especially in kids and teenagers such as acne, unnatural breast growth, worsen sinus congestion, and cause many hard to define problems.

You ween off of mothers milk at 12-18 months. It’s not natural to your biology.
Short of other food sources, it’s a better option than starving.
But when you have ample food, there are better choices.

Cheese is good for you, but milk isn't because it's a mix of sugar and carbs, and those add up quickly because they're in liquid form. You can drink 300-400 calories of milk with quickness.

Not everyone has the genes to digest cow milk.

quote:

Approximately 65 percent of the human population has a reduced ability to digest lactose after infancy.Lactose intolerance in adulthood is most prevalent in people of East Asian descent, affecting more than 90 percent of adults in some of these communities.

quote:

Lactose intolerance is also very common in people of West African, Arab, Jewish, Greek, and Italian descent.

The prevalence of lactose intolerance is lowest in populations with a long history of dependence on unfermented milk products as an important food source. For example, only about 5 percent of people of Northern European descent are lactose intolerant.
