The city put up several signs in the neighborhood park saying the playground was closed but the park was open if you maintained 6 feet of separation. Thank goodness all but one of the signs have disappeared, probably into the nearby pond.

Why? Because they are not certain of their decision to radically isolate. Those who take a leap of faith often despise and disparage those who don’t. And the shakier the foundation of their faith the more they need to wipe out any dissenting opinions. It’s why when religions gain political power they persecute non-believers; why climate nuts can’t tolerate dissenting views; why the PC brigade has ushered in cancel culture; and why the COVID-19 extremists don’t want any nation, state or city not locking down.

There are 2 types of "Karens" I see the most on fb. There are the ones who swear up and down "if everyone would stay at home and not leave whatsoever then this would all be over in 2 weeks and we could get back to normal."
Then you have the ones who openly advicate for martial law. They say Trump isn't taking this seriously, that we need to have military actively patrolling the streets and arresting everyone who leaves the house. Or even do as that crazy leader from the Philipines and have our military open fire on a citizen if they are caught leaving the house.

Many middle-age to old white women would love nothing more than for BRPD and the National Guard to be patrolling their neighborhood looking for escapees.

The 6 foot rule is for when you must go out for essentials, not for you to be out playing adult hopscotch or kickball with the crew at the park. Stay home, exercise at home, and limit contact with other to limit spread of the virus.
The more we follow the guidelines the quicker this thing will be over. Why is that so hard to get for you people? Coronavirus is not a left-wing hoax to sink Trump's re-election bid, it's real. I know several people who've been infected and a number who have passed.
