When in world history has a respiratory virus been eliminated by "quarantine" etc?

I belong to two neighborhood Facebook groups. The first few weeks of this the old people omen were posting all day about violators and whining about everything.
People got tired of it and she’s ole bitches are now getting made fun of to the point that most have shut up.

Well I like 90% of the post and people. They try to post positive things and stuff related to businesses in the area, etc.
When the old bored women and the mouth breathers post idiotic stuff, it’s annoying.

Quarantining is the new virtue signal. There are a few sky screaming liberals on my feed who are monitoring the test and death numbers like they are election returns. These people are miserable and It’s pathetic.
