I remember discovering that song ‘Not an Addict’ on The Box. I paid to hear it again so I could tape it on the VCR. I had to answer for that charge on the phone bill.

I grew up in the country, we didn't have basic cable, just a huge satelite dish, so I would go to the city to my friends house and watch the box. I loved it. So many good music videos back then. Limp Bizkit, Nelly, Big Tymers, Korn, Juvenile all come to mind.
I am surprised at the amount of people that don't remember or weren't familiar with The Box anytime I bring it up in conversation.

The Box was legit, although people usually played trash. Getting a decent song on was a huge win.
