Overall, China is our biggest threat and it's not close. They have the technology and manpower to seriously challenge us if they wanted to. At this point, they control us in every way, so there's not much to gain from crushing the US.

I agree they are our biggest military threat. I even agree that no one else is even close, but I do not believe they will ever be able to “seriously” challenge us conventionally. Winnie the Pooh is unstable though, so a nuke exchange can’t be ruled out.

The greatest threat for all 3 of these countries is the same answer. Ourselves. No one is going to be able to take down any of these 3 in their own country besides the country turning on itself.
Also, Russia could still nuke the shite out of the world. So they aren’t exactly a paper tiger.

there is no real threat, period. at least when talking about conventional military
plenty of threats nuclear wise but nobody can project power nor can they come close to our weapons and training.
now drone warfare is changing the game, but nobody is close to us in that either.

We don't really have a military threat. There's not a country or current group of countries in the world that can project enough power across the Atlantic or Pacific (while fighting the best Navy in the world) to threaten the CONUS. You could argue that Russia is a threat to Poland or that China is a threat to Taiwan and that we could get involved, but there's no threat to the U.S.

I didn't wake up this morning planning to be an a-hole but you have lost your everloving mind. You are stressing over the 25th-ranked military with no aircraft carriers, no helo carriers, no destroyers and 6 subs with 1/20th the transport planes of the US and ZERO tankers. Even if they stole the 20 nukes we store in Germany they are all gravity bombs that they would never get near our shores.
Never mind there are 5 NATO members in Europe that each individually have stronger militaries than Germany.
Germany could triple its entire governmental spending and use every Euro for the military and still not be at parity with the US military spending. That would be increasing their military spending by 30 fold.
Sure they had a historic military buildup after WWI but they had good reason, they were being squeezed dry monetarily. They have shown zero interest in building another world-class military and it would take them decades to do even if it was their first priority and we would see every hull laid and every airframe assembled.

I think it's any of these radical countries that have a nuke and rocket capable of getting it over populated areas. A few EMP's over the US sets this country back to mid 1800's.

A few people have already said this and it bears repeating. Our greatest threat is not a military, it's progressive left ideology and it's not even close.
