We own a 100 year old railcar that once ran the streets of in Baton Rouge back in the 1920s. It is part of our house. Imagine that, an antique railcar on the bayou. What an unexpected jewel to find out there is the middle of nowhere.

Maybe you dont consider it an actual piece of valuable artwork but she is priceless and beautiful work of art to me. We are restoring her to her former glory. Her history and the history of the little old lady who originally owned it is simply amazing to us.

When she was alive, many were sold at a small filling station near the plantation. This was before they were worth much. My Mother bought a number of them. She kept some and gave some to those of us who were interested. Lucky me.

All of my Blue Dog paintings are Chinese knock-offs from eBay, but there’s no way you can tell.

I own an Audubon Octavo Edition. Not a really valuable one, but it's not something you walk into a store and buy for $30 either.

I have no idea if I own anything valuable. I buy all my art at garage sales. Except for a picture someone convinced me to buy from a local artist who puts mud in his paint or some nonsense.

I had a blue dog painting given to me once. That’s the only piece of art that I own.

Some famous artist from the 60s/70s once pooped in a bunch of tin cans and sealed that shite up. I have one the cans on our bookshelf with a little plaque next to it - inherited it from a wealthy aunt. That shite will be worth a lot of money one day if not already. If only we knew the artist’s name
