They say it was showing symptoms; so the tiger had a fever (ok), difficulty breathing (maybe) and dry cough (what?) How did they get it a test, especially in NY where they are allegedly short on everything, and how was it administered? How is this the first animal to be suspected of having, get tested for and then diagnosed with COVID?

I can't be the only one that thinks this is pretty farfetched.

I wonder if the tiger had to get approval from his doctor before they tested him

I believe this is the 2nd animal to have had the virus. First was a house cat in Belgium. LiveScience

I have no idea, the articles all just say it was "showing symptoms."

Just wondering what it’s symptoms might have been.

Did it have a ‘scratchy’ throat?

Or is this a CAT scam? That zoo hospital admin could be a lyin’ and telling a tale.

I got a feeling NY is doing alot of lying during this Corona ordeal. Does this Corona virus exist. Sure it does but guess where a majority of liberal fake news is NEW YORK. Everyone is getting it including a tiger in NY

Look, at this point there’s just no evidence to support that hydroxychloroquine will work on tigers. It’s all anecdotal

I don't know offhand if this can be tested in bloodwork; I assume so. That's surely the only way you're going to check a tiger- I can't imagine stuffing a swab up his nostril.

Curious, does this make LSU take more precautions with Mike?

Well, a tiger can’t really say what’s going on with him...

Know the difference between signs and symptoms?
