I find NYE to be the most overhyped, overrated of all the celebrations/ holidays we have. Never understood all the hooplah to be honest.

I went out for the first time in forever for new years and hated it...too crowded and way to many ignorant drunk assholes for my taste.

I did. I went to a gatsbyean party of ultra rich people. Black tie event. We used our pass to get on and any other night we'd be asked to leave but too many people for them to care. Spent 40 dollars on two fricking drinks. Spent a fricking hour getting a cigar in the cigar room. Saw a ton of ridiculously hot chicks. I saw a total of two chicks who weren't drop dead gorgeous the entire time. I talked with a total of 5 people that I didn't come with in the 3 hours I was there.
I loved the fireworks and I did kinda like seeing how the rich live but I realized I don't have the patience for this stuff.
