I don't work in ER so I couldn't tell you exact numbers.
On the weekend nights you will see/hear more fly in though. Not all helicopters are bringing traumas though.....it could just be a patient flown in from some remote tiny hospital hours away that needs a higher level of care.

My core group of friends spends the weekend at a lakehouse every single year. It's an awesome reunion, and we don't have to worry about on NYE night.

Most of my friends are doing shite tonight, but I'll probably stay in and chill. I hope they enjoy the 3 hours' worth of thunderstorms that are about to hit.

I'd be all good with the get together my friends are talking about at the house later, they're good friends we watch all the games there with one glaring problem for me the possibility of getting laid basically being zero.

Before kids it was one of the best nights out. Now a days at midnight the wife and kids are fast asleep and I'm outside watching some movie. So yeah it's pretty different now.

I'm at a nice hotel for a wedding tomorrow and it is amazing how many people are here for New Years. I didn't know it was a thing to travel to a destination to go out for NYE. What a waste.
