Who Does Not Go All Out for New Years Eve?

When I was in college I would go to NYE parties, but other than that NYE never really excited me. It seems like the weather is always shitty and something about it just doesn't excite me. Its not the best time to go somewhere & drink if you have to drive. Even if you don't drink, there are a lot of others on the road drinking & driving. People are popping fireworks all over so the smoke is like fog. Anyone else just take it easy on NYE?

I have to work tonight and not even the slightest bit upset over it.
Last 2 years I was off for NYE and both years we ended up just staying home cause we didn't want to deal with the crowds and drunks on the roads.

i DD'd for all of my friends one NYE a few years ago and was on the roads until about 5am. the drivers were amazing in how terrible they were

Normally I would love for my work to place me on call for a holiday(and it's my turn to be placed on call). I'm actually hoping that doesn't happen cause I would not want to get the call after midnight and have to drive to work at that time.

It is only good if you are single otherwise it is better to stay at home and be safe

Not a fan of crowded bars, covers, or overpriced drinks no matter what day it is.
What fun is a bar if it takes 20 minutes to get inside, 40 minutes to get a drink, and you can't move away from the 200 other hard dicks in the place?

I always thought it was the worst night to go out single. Seems like everyone was paired up.
