You know that’s not true, and you’re letting hatred for me cloud your judgement. Granted I don’t know who you are since you’re clearly not worth my time, so your intellect hasn’t impressed me. Only the dumbest of my critics think I’m stupid.

I really don’t care how this thread goes...... kinda like how many fricks I give about gas prices

Answer my question then: would you give a frick if gas dropped to a dollar?

I don't think you're stupid.

No I wouldn’t ....
I work downstream. All price of oil does is change my bonus percentage. Higher price=bigger bonus
My job is not dependent on price of gas.

Yes it is.

If the price gets so low, it's not worth drilling, you wouldn't be affected?

So if no one was drilling oil it wouldn't affect you as a person who refines oil wouldn't be affected?

I can digest the insanity part. I’m certainly not stupid, but certainly unstable. I overthink everything and have been convinced I’m going nuts for a while. But as John Locke in LOST said:

quote:

Crazy people don’t know they are going crazy. They think they are getting saner.

I question my mental health constantly, but people around me say that I’m over-evaluating things. That is my thing, and it may mean I am mentally unstable, but stupid? Please. No one I have ever met has accused me of such and actually told me the opposite. I am thoroughly convinced that idiots are far more happy than intellectuals.

I don’t know about the OP but I can tell you that if gas dropped to $1 a gallon I wouldn’t be purchasing anymore gas than I’m currently using. Sure I would have more discretionary income which would be nice but again it’s nothing I have control over since I don’t have a train or bus to choose to from for transportation.

If you live in Louisiana and the price drops to or below 1.00 you will be effected. Downstream or not.

Y’all make some crazy assumptions

I don’t refine oil..... downstream includes many things other than refining oil
