Because anyone who isn’t an entitled rich prick cares about it, you dumb frick. Rich people who earned where they are care about gas prices. It’s clear to me that you’re entitled frick who needs harsh reality dealt to him.

“Why do people care about gas prices?” What the frick kind of a question is that? Ask Elon Musk, and he’ll call you an entitled retard for asking it.

Lyft and Uber drivers definitely care what the price of gas is. It’s not like those companies are raising the rider’s fares to reflect the price of gas.

I don't really care what it costs now. Obviously the cost of fuel causes other prices to rise due to transportation costs etc.

osted by Pechon on 5/12/18 at 6:39 pm to geauxcats10 I don't care at all for a couple reasons: I don't commute nearly as much as I did several years ago. I work from home most of the time. An oil and gas industry flush with cash will spend it. When the price of gas goes up, they spend money on technology, which in turn helps my numbers and bank account.

Probably because they’re upper middle class or higher, but I think most of them can comprehend a scenario where they do care. If it’s on my company dime, I don’t give that much of a frick so long as they don’t take it out of my paycheck.

But obviously you’re too stupid to understand that not everyone is in the upper middle class. I think the upper class outside of the oil industry would be more pissed off about this than the middle-upper class since it’s costing them more. You’re just an entitled punk.

If gas got to hundred dollars a gallon where it would cost me 3500 to fill up then yeah obviously it would be a problem.

But at $5 a gallon I wouldn’t check up.

Anyways it’s been fun... later

If you’re white collar, yes. Blue collar, no. And white collars aren’t necessarily richer than blue collars. I bet the average plumber makes more than the average salesman.

Thanks for confirming you’re a troll. I speak for everyone on this board: go frick yourself. Worst thread of the year so far.

I mean, back in the leaner financial days, we'd avoid a pointless day trip of 200 miles or so when the price was high, but otherwise not much else.

I don't think that's that ridiculous of a statement. Not necessarily are smart phone with unlimited data, but access to internet/email at all times is pretty close to a necessity.

$100/gal would never happen

I never stated I would never (not) care I just said I wouldn’t/don’t care now or even if it went a few dollars higher.

I wants to know who drives around looking for the cheapest gas? And who doesn’t care what they pay.

Y’all went into bleeding vagina mode so it was fun

It’s a necessity. I have to have it to go to work to make money so it’s basically a sunk cost.

The price on everything would rise dramatically, people would be put out of work.

So yes, a shock to the economy of $5 gas would quickly get your attention.

I drive a diesel. I don’t care how much a gallon of gas costs but hell, I’ll yake the diesel jump in the winter with the heating oil thing but in BR we are inching closer and closer to 3.00 a gallon for diesel. Paid 2.79 Friday morning.

Ummmm, duh. What’s your point? “Oh hey gas won’t be $500,000 a gallon!” No shite. You’re an exceptionally stupid person, and I hope you like your cushy job working for your dad or father in law, because everyone else there hates you.

So you don’t care that you could use the extra 2-3 grand to buy more investments?

Like what do you want to prove from this thread? The only thing you have proven is you currently live in a gigantic bubble.

That’s like me saying I can’t wait for operators to charge double for 5G so I can earn a bigger bonus check. It’s stupid.
