Based on the location and the old woman the scenario you describe isn't at the bottom of the list of possibilities. Now if this would have happened in the pacific northwest or really just not rural LA,MS,AL,FL I would agree with the "why does the race matter posts".

It doesn’t matter if race was a factor in that woman’s mind or not. Unless we know race was a factor it shouldn’t be mentioned. This is part of what perpetuates bad race relations. A bunch of non-race related incidents get lumped in with actual racist encounters.

After speaking with the woman's husband, who's also a property manager, he told them they only needed reservations for the cabin and RV area, not the lake area, Richardson said.
The husband said they were on private property, but Richardson said they didn't know and didn't see any signs saying that.
The Richardson's obtained an attorney to see how they can move forward.

I have a fairly large lake on the back of my property. Drove back there one day and there is a black family fishing.
They drove across a mile of posted private property to get there.
I pulled up, introduced myself, and asked them to leave. They couldn't understand they were trespassing and cops had to be called.
Had the dad become aggressive, perhaps it could have escalated.
