I would probably guess Brownsville. You're probably hot year round, you're in the path of hurricanes, and if you are Caucasian,you are no doubt in the overwhelming minority.

I've been to just about everywhere in Texas. It depends on what you don't like.

Tbh, I wouldnt live in Austin if it was free. The traffic and over crowding of people makes living there a bitch.

With exception to southeast Texas(the hood) , anywhere else is not bad at all in Texas.

Close to the beach and they have Vera’s backyard pit Bbq.

I can’t imagine how bad some of the methed out dumpy panhandle towns must be.not in the panhandle and not really a city, but someone said Pecos and it’s hard to beat that.
