Are there states that won't reopen until they have zero new cases? I just don't think that has happened or is going to happen. Are you just using hyperbole or a strawman to make a point? I don't get it.

Totally agree with OP. We shut down to make sure we didn’t over run hospitals. We now know we won’t. The at risk need to stay at home and the rest of us need to return to normal life.

lockdowns do not reduce the number of people infected.

Which was never the point. Not sure how a few idiot governors or mayors got to zero new cases being the goal.

Shutting down business and commercial activity is a Democrat's wet dream.

I try not to worry about biased media. The states are going to continue to reopen. Probably more than half by may 15.

Right before we actually 99% flattened the curve is when the goal posts moved. Politicians who got a taste of power will keep this up for as long as they can.

The same way "global warming" became "climate change." Rebranding and changing of the narrative to achieve the same goal.

We were sold one thing and now getting the total extreme.

Because the government knew if they said we’d be shutting down for 6-8 weeks people would have lost their shite. That’s why the warm fuzzy flatten the curve was used. People however have just gone to the extreme due to fear.

Hopefully as states begin opening the doomsday scenarios that are scaring people continue to not come to fruition
